World Famous Warm Glass Artist Patty Gray
Stained Glass Crafters Workbench is proud to announce that we will be hosting two very special workshops taught by world famous warm glass artist Patty Gray. The first class, Advanced Fusing Techniques, will start on Saturday, March 17th through Monday, March 19th, 2012.

The second class, Three Day Advanced Fusing Techniques, Tuesday, March 20th to Thursday, March 22nd, 2012. The students in these classes will explore and develop their love of kiln formed glass art in a variety of ways.

Patty has been gracious enough to find time in her very busy schedule to visit San Antonio and teach for the first time in our studio. Both workshops are limited to 8 people, so book time off from work now and reserve your spot. The workshop fee for both Three Day Workshops is $645.00 with lunch and materials included. Just a few of the projects she will be teaching students to do will be combing/raking, using the Vitrograph, making murrini and pattern bars, using Glassline paints, coldworking, thick open-faced casting, frit cookies, stringer plates, using an airbrush and the Airpen, and more. Check out her personal website to see the beautiful art that she creates with glass.

Patty's classes fill up very quickly, wherever she teaches. She rarely comes to the Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from one of the best in the field of warm glass. If you are traveling from out of town, contact us and we can recommend local accommodations.
A deposit of $250.00 will secure your spot in either of these classes. The balance is due at the start of the workshop. We will accept cancellations up to February 15th, 2012, with a full refund, but after that date, a refund will only be given if somebody can be found to take your place. We will be taking names for a waiting list in the event we have any cancellations.
Note: Hands-on fusing experience is required. Students are asked to bring a glass cutter, safety glasses, breaking pliers, dust mask and a ruler.
