Traditional Lead construction is the method of the masters. Lead method is wonderful in larger windows, sidelights, and doors and is a great technique for geometric designs and straight lines. During this two-day boot camp, you will construct an elegant window while learning the complete process of working with lead channel (came). We will discuss the different types of lead came and in the end, you will “play in the mud” during the glazing process. Students need to have all glass cut, ground, and ready to assemble prior to class.
Prerequisite: Tiffany Foil Method. Some supplies needed.
