Well I have never considered a jellyfish strikingly attractive until now. These beautiful fused jellyfish will be a wonderful addition to any beach house or patio. The sound of the wind blowing through the tenacles are sure to help anyone relax after a long day. We will show you how to add LED lights to make your jellyfish shimmer after dark. You will build on clear glass and use color embellishments to make this project your own.
Prerequisite: Cutting skills helpful but not required.

Supplies: $20.00 for clear glass, tenacles, body, and embellishing glass. Beading wire and crimps extra. Firing and release paper included. Additional glass and LED lights are extra.

Sugar skull art, an ancient belief of honoring deceased loved ones, reflects the folk-art style of big happy smiles, colorful icing and sparkly tin and glittery adornments. The celebration of a loved one’s life is represented in the vibrant colors and special designs.

You will have a precut skull to decorate with the designs of your choice. Eye ball earrings, Vitrigraph, and lots of color variety will be available for your use. Stand sold separately.

If you choose not to make a sugar skull, we have plenty of Halloween themed pre-cuts for you to use. Pre-cuts are extra.
We will offer additional seasonally themed pieces for you to create and use in the stand.

Create a design of your choosing on a glass block using glass, found objects, and dots. Embellish with precut designs optional at shelf price.

We will provied 1 glass block with predrilled hole, the block designs will vary, variety of glass options and some dots.

Students may bring in found opbjects, broken jewlery or other non glass items they may choose to use in their mosaic.

Students may finish the edge of the glass block with a wide ribbon or paint. Ribbon/pain are not included.

Supplies: Students will need to purchase the adhesive and twinkle lights if desired

Using copper wire, you will twist the wire into a tree with branches and roots. Choose your background, or leave it open, and add a border. The glass you choose sets the tone for your tree and framing it in copper makes the tree pop. This is a fun project!

Supplies: Bring a pair of needle nose pliers to the first class. Copper wire, glass and framing zinc/copper.

All glass and supplies must be purchased from Stained Glass workbench.

Day two, bring your soldering equipment or you may rent ours.

You select the glass and we will provide the patterns for this free-standing Nativity Set. You will be given the complete pattern set BUT in class we will only assemble Joseph, Mary and the baby.

Prerequisite: Proficiency in Foil Method. Your skills are important as there is no border or framing to hold this together.

Once you register for this class you will need to pick up your pattern. Before the first class the Pieces need to be cut, ground, and foiled

Join us to make a Christmas scene of your choosing that will look great displayed on point in the 6” V stand, the same stand used to display the Fused Sugar Skull.  Once Dia De Los Muertos is over, remove the sugar skull scene and replace it with your Christmas scene. This beautiful stained glass standing angel is quick and easy to make. Once you know how you will be making several to display during the holidays. We will make the angel in a 7” size but you may easily change the size to make more of various heights. These angels are also a great gift for someone with a special need of comfort.

All glass needs to be cut, ground and foiled prior to class, we will only be assembling during class. If you like, you may come in and use our space to do the cutting and grinding.

Join us for some holiday cheer as we create this beautiful poinsettia plate. There will be pre-cut white poinsettia petals and green leaves. With mosaic nippers you will create the ruffled edge of the petals and leaves. Use handmade balls, vitrigraph, and frit to finish off your piece. Create a 6" x 6", 6" x 12", or 8" x 8" plate
