Magic Flowing Bowl | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

You will thoroughly enjoy discovering the magic that occurs when the glass flows during a hot time in the kiln. We will be using a round Patty Gray mold to control the size of our magic. Additional firings may be necessary as well as some cold working for size. After firings your creation will be slump into a bowl shape of your choice.
Prerequisite: Cutting and Fusing Experience helpful
Supplies: Mold, firing, release paper and coatings provided.
Sheet glass and fused pieces at shelf price.

We will provide a large variety of glass for you to choose from to create your colorful butterfly. Using an adhesive sheet, you will adhere pieces of glass to a wooden substrate. This is a grout less technique.
Cutting skills are helpful but not required.

Kaleidoscope Workshop #3: Intermediate 4 Sided | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

I have always loved the magic of looking through a kaleidoscope, it is so fascinating to see the changes in color and design! They are easy to make if you know a few tricks to ensure your success.
Kaleidoscope Workshop #3 creates a spectacular image using extra internal mirrors and a colored oil wand with bits of floating colors inside which will delight your visual senses.
We will show a decorative soldering technique to elevate your overall kaleidoscope.
Each student will make one kaleidoscope.
Prerequisite: Tiffany Foil Method and Kaleidoscope Workshop #1 or #2.
Supplies: Front surface mirror, glass, oil wand.

Light up your life with this imaginative solar powered Garden Path Light which will softly illuminate your glass mosaic creating a colorful marker for a pathway, flower garden, or area of your choosing. This would also make a great nightlight for a child’s room. In this one day class, we will show you how to get your design on the glass globe to create this grout-less style mosaic. Student will come in when they have completed their piece to have the globe attached to the base. A variety of solar lights are available at any hardware store.

Have A Heart | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Come have fun with us creating a beautiful heart design, either for yourself or that special someone. From 6 patterns you will choose your design. To enhance your piece, we will demonstrate a decorative soldering technique and show you how to embellish with curls of twisted wire.
This class will help you take your skills to the next level. In class we will show you how to "lock down" your pieces for soldering, we will also show you a few options to finish the organic edge.
You will need to cut, grind and foil the pieces before coming to class.
You must foil the outer edge of the glass as well. You may come into the studio and do it here prior to class if you choose to do so.

You will create a unique Art Strip piece by combining various colors and textures of glass, cutting glass into desired sizes, then frame and solder it together. This project is a great introduction to lead method. Your art strip will be ready to hang in any desired window.

This has always been a popular class and makes great gift for the graduate, bride or the person who is hard to buy for. We will teach you how easy it is to cut strips to decorate your picture frame.
You will need to purchase your frame before the first class. The frame should be no larger than 16 x 20 and no smaller than 11 x 14 and should come with clear glass included. Beads are fun to included so bring what you have to include in your frame and, if you choose, to share or exchange with other students.
This technique can also be done as a mirror.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary.
Supply Fee: $10.00 for adhesiuve, glass of your choice extra.
