Mosaic Table, Tuesday, January 2, 9, and February | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

This class has been very popular and our instructor does a great job helping you create a fabulous table to enjoy game night, an evening on the patio, or a focal point that will have your friend talking about the amazing job you did.  Each student needs to purchase their table, no larger than 36” and prep it at home.  Upon registration, we will discuss with you how select and prep the table.  In class, we will work on the pattern, apply the glass and do a dry grout cleanup. Come to the first class with a design in mind or bring a selected pattern.

Prerequisite:  Cutting skills helpful but not required

Thursday, January 3
Water Color Bowl with Organic Design, Thursday, Ja | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
There are never any two alike when you create this unique organic shaped bowl.  Choose your colors and how you will arrange them on your shelf.  After firing we will tweak the glass to fit the mold you select.  You will find this class to be very relaxing and the outcome will give you a big smile. 

Class includes colored glass and 1 square foot clear glass

Prerequisite:  Glass cutting skills helpful but not necessary.

Beginner Tiffany Foil Method Boot Camp, January 5 | 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Learn the Tiffany Foil method of creating stained glass while making your own beautiful glass window. During this comprehensive weekend class you will learn the ins and outs of the copper foil method starting with how to cut glass and continuing with pattern preparation and soldering, to completion of your first beautiful stained glass "masterpiece". This class is also a perfect refresher course.

You must come in before the first class date to select your pattern and glass.

Prerequisite:  None

Some supplies needed, about $75.00 not including your glass.

There is a $35.00 fee for the use of the chemicals and the cutting and soldering equipment.

Tuesday, January 15
Pattern Making (Intermediate), January 15, 16, 17 | 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
We have been asked many times to offer our expertise on designing custom panels.  In this class, we will share lots of tips and techniques to make design elements more understandable.  When you are finished with the class you will be able to create a design for a specific size, using your own design elements or from other patterns, or pictures while using a variety of proper reinforcement techniques. 
Our customers always tell us this class was well worth taking. “I learned so much from this class.  There was more to this than I expected and you made the process so easy.”
In this class, done in three consecutive days,  we will only create the design.  Be prepared to come to class with an opening size and a general idea of what you might want as your focal.

Please bring to class:  Size of opening, Mechanical Pencil, Art Gum or Pink Pearl eraser, and a magazine

All About Fusing Boot Camp, Saturday, January 19, | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
This comprehensive course is perfect for you if you have tried fusing and want to go further with your knowledge, want to buy a kiln, or have a kiln but are concerned about using it.  We will discuss different types of kilns and what is right for your specific needs, kiln safety, proper preparation of kilns and shelf, Co-efficiency of glass, levels of fusing results, types of molds and mold preparation, types of shelf paper and their uses, use of kiln logs, how to work with different types of glass, and much more.  Your knowledge will be enhanced with the different projects you make.

Saturday, January 26
Pendant Lights Up or Down | 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Pendant lights can be a focal in any room if the glass globe is unique. We will teach you how easy it is to make your own pendant light globes.  This same technique makes excellent up lights as well.  You will have your choice to make either a pendant light to hang or an up light to display on a lamp base. Glass is extra, pendant light mechanics and lamp bases are not included.

Prerequisite:  Cutting Skills Helpful

Saturday, February 2
Get The Lead Out Boot Camp (Intermediate): Februa | 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Traditional Lead construction is the method of the masters.  Lead method is wonderful in larger windows, sidelights, and doors and is a great technique for geometric designs and straight lines.  During this boot camp, you will construct an elegant window while learning the complete process of working with lead channel (came).  We will discuss the different types of lead came and in the end, you will “play in the mud” during the glazing process.  Students need to have all glass cut, ground, and ready to assemble prior to class.

Bring a lunch or we we will order from a close by restaurant.  

Prerequisite:  Tiffany Foil Method.  Some supplies needed.
